Founded in 1832, Longines navigational timepieces and instruments have travelled with many pioneers- among them Admiral Byrd, Roald Amundsen and Paul-Emile Victor. In 1927 Longines designed the 'Lindbergh' watch for Charles Lindbergh who flew solo non-stop across the Atlantic. Precision and accuracy earned Longines a reputation which it into the fields of navigation and exploration as well as sports timekeeping- for many years Longines has been associated with the Summer and Winter Olympics.
