Austin Kaye provide a unique sale or return service which works very well when we perhaps can’t reach the price you want to get for an outright purchase. Here’s an example which should make it clear. If your watch is worth £800 for outright purchase, it could be worth £1000 on SOR (sale or return). We would guarantee to return you £1000 (as and when the item is sold) and anything which we get over-and-above that price is our profit.
You are given a receipt, all items are fully insured on the premises (they never leave the premises) and they are put into our safe at night.
We have a fantastic success rate in selling SOR items (about 95%). That’s because we have one of the busiest watch windows in London and also because your watch is put onto our incredibly popular website.
